Sochi Autodrom is the first circuit in Russia to have hosted the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Sochi Autodrom is the most high-tech complex to host international motorsport events in Eastern Europe and the only Russian circuit to operate all year round. Its highly modern infrastructure and trained staff ensure that all necessary safety regulations are met at all times.
On October 10th – 12th, 2014 at Sochi Autodrom, the first ever Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix took place, which was announced to become the FOM Race Promoters’ Trophy winner as the best championship’s stage in the 2014 season during the FIA General Assembly in early December 2014.
