Assen is known as “The Cathedral” of motorbike racing, a high speed flowing circuit that has been a fixture of the MotoGP calendar since 1949. A narrow, challenging track, adored by fans and riders, Assen’s rapid direction changes and numerous overtaking spots put the riders to the test.
Held on the last Saturday in June, the race enjoys an exceptional carnival atmosphere with over 100,000 fans, making this one of the season’s most evocative races and a global sporting event.
